The Dancing Scrollbars!
I had an hour to kill and got inspired by this entry on the Chrome Experiments site. Andrey has made a nice wave simulator using scrollbars and some JavaScript magic. Taking that idea and mixing it up with what I've been doing lately (see here and here), here is the magnificent troupe of Dancing Scrollbars (ok, they're more like the Jumping Scrollbar handles, really).
The music is Tom Cruise Crazy by Jonathan Coulton.
Have fun!
And now I'm totally done with this. For now.

I think you should remove the margins between the scrollbars or set the background color to "Scrollbar" (OS' native scrollbar background color, supported by Mozilla browsers). My scrollbars have a black background with a brown-ish orange foreground and the white area makes it look kind of unpleasant.

March 26, 2009 6:23 PM Jacob SeidelinOk. I didn't have time to test on a lot of browsers.
